Carmen brings her background as a public school teacher and entrepreneur to Session Zero, infusing the store with a spirit of lifelong learning and exploration. Her warm energy and attention to detail have transformed Session Zero into more than a store—it's an experience. Whether you're a brand-new gamer or a seasoned expert, Carmen is dedicated to making everyone feel welcome. Her passion for the community shines through every aspect of the shop, making it the go-to destination for gamers in Weatherford.

Carson Luke

Carson’s love for gaming is the foundation of Session Zero’s success. A 2022 graduate of Weatherford High School with a flair for theater and a current student at the University of Texas at Arlington, Carson’s creativity, friendliness, and vision have made Session Zero the heart of the local gaming community. Even as he balances his studies, Carson continues to play a key role in fostering the inclusive and exciting environment that defines Session Zero.

Our Story

Session Zero Comics and Games was born out of a simple yet powerful dream: sharing the joy of gaming with others. This dream began with Carson Luke, whose passion for tabletop games, miniatures, and comics inspired his family to create something extraordinary. With the unwavering support of his parents, Carmen and Charles Luke, Session Zero was officially founded in March 2024.

While Carson continues to pursue his college education, he remains an integral part of the store, helping shape it into the vibrant gaming hub it has become. Carmen, fueled by her own love of learning and community building, runs Session Zero as more than just a business—it's a labor of love, a gathering place, and a creative escape for hobbyists of all skill levels. Together, the Luke family has created a space where friendships form, adventures begin, and creativity thrives.
